Discover the joy of singing at the “Choir Weekend with Yana Deliradeva”—three days dedicated to musical connection and shared inspiration. The event is open to participants of all ages and levels of experience, from enthusiastic beginners to more experienced choral singers.

A mentor in the Sofia Art Institute Choral Academy, Yana Deliradeva is one of Bulgaria’s leading choral conductors and vocal educators, renowned for her inspiring and original approach that combines singing, movement, and body awareness. She studied choral conducting in Bulgaria and at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, USA. Today, she serves as Chief Conductor of the Detska Kitka Choir, teaches choral conducting at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, and is a vocal coach at Madam Opera Academy. She has led masterclasses and workshops in Bulgaria, Serbia, Sweden, and the United States.

Throughout the weekend, participants will work on a varied repertoire in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The culmination of the event will be a professional audio recording of the prepared works—a beautiful keepsake and a tangible result of our shared musical journey.

Part of the “cHOIR ACADEMY” Series

Yana Deliradeva is a distinguished Bulgarian choral conductor, widely recognized for her innovative work with children’s choirs and her dedication to music education. She is a conductor and educator with a distinctive approach that combines singing, movement, and body awareness.

Yana studied choral conducting in Bulgaria with Assoc. Prof. Nikola Lipov and Prof. Georgi Robev, and later at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, USA, under the guidance of Prof. Joseph Flummerfelt.

After returning to Bulgaria in 2002, she worked as assistant conductor and, since 2011, as chief conductor of the Detska Kitka Choir.

In addition to her conducting career, Yana Deliradeva teaches choral conducting at the Prof. Asen Diamandiev Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv and serves as a vocal coach at Madam Opera Academy of the Plovdiv Opera.

She has led conducting workshops in Bulgaria, Serbia, Sweden, and the United States, and is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards.
