THE PILLOW CONCERTS
The Pillow Concerts have been running successfully for nearly 15 years and have become a beloved part of the cultural life in Bulgaria. We launched the series in 2012 with the ambitious goal of introducing the youngest audiences to the world of classical music. We removed all the strict formalities, inviting children to sit comfortably on the floor among hundreds of comfy pillows and encouraging them to dance and sing along the music. During the performances, the whole family – parents and children – sit together and enjoy the shared experience while the musicians present the instruments, the performed works and their composers in an engaging and accessible way.
