“Concerts on Pillows” continues its season with the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – considered by many to be the most brilliant composer of all time.

This concert presents two of the composer’s most renowned masterpieces: Piano Concerto No. 23 and Eine kleine Nachtmusik. Written just a year apart, they reveal two different facets of the mature Mozart: the virtuoso pianist and the master of chamber music.

Piano Concerto No. 23, completed in 1786, features one of Mozart’s most beautiful slow movements – an Adagio in F-sharp minor – which is unusually dramatic and intimate for an otherwise bright concerto. Meanwhile, Eine kleine Nachtmusik, written the following year, is actually a serenade for string quartet and stands as one of the most recognizable and beloved works among music lovers of all ages.

On stage will be pianist Veneta Neynska, violinists Ivaylo Danailov and Ivan Staykov, violist Stefaniya Yankova, and cellist Viktor Traykov.
