“Whispers in the Night” is a concert dedicated to that special silence in which music resonates most deeply – somewhere between tenderness, passion, and contemplation.

The program brings together the refinement and luminous elegance of Joseph Haydn, the dramatic intensity and romantic sensuality of Arnold Schoenberg’s “Verklärte Nacht“, and the intimate “Nocturne” by Franz Schubert. These three works embody three distinct ways in which the audience will discover the music of the night.

On the stage will be Maxim Tzekov – violin, Syon Najman – violoncello, and Boris Uzunov – piano.

As a soloist and chamber musician, Maxim Tzekov has appeared at international concert halls such as the Musikverein and Konzerthaus Vienna, the Philharmonie Luxembourg, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. 
In 2024, as part of the “Laureates” project, he performed as concertmaster and soloist with the Cantus Firmus Orchestra, gave a masterclass at the National Music School in Sofia, and performed a recital at the Bulgaria Chamber Hall. 
In the field of chamber music, he has collaborated in recent years with Gabriel Meloni, the Vladigerov Brothers, Anastasia Kobekina, and Julia Hagen, as well as with the multi-genre trio SMS. 
Maxim Tsekov is a laureate of the 2026 International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, as well as the winner of the 2020 Alberto Lysy Competition in Gstaad, the 2021 Stefanie Hohl Competition in Vienna, and the 2019 Kloster Schöntal Competition. As a scholarship recipient of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, he plays a violin by J. B. Guadagnini, “ex-Kingman,” Parma 1769. 
Since 2023, he has been a member of Ulf Wallin’s violin class at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. The most important mentor in his musical development during his early years was Ivan Dimitrov. He gained orchestral experience with the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Philharmonic. 

Syon Najman is born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 2002. He began playing the cello at the age of six and later specialised with Prof. Romain Garioud in Paris, France. He completed his Bachelor’s degree with Prof. Jens Peter Maintz at the Berlin University of the Arts and, since the autumn of 2026, has been studying with Prof. Julian Steckel in Munich, Germany. 
As first prize winner and laureate of numerous national and international competitions (Concertino Praha Competition, Karl Davidoff Competition, Popper Competition, etc.), Syon is regularly invited to perform as a soloist and chamber musician at festivals throughout Europe, where he collaborated with renowned musicians such as Elena Bashkirova, Boris Garlitsky, Alexander Zemtsov, Roland Glassl, Giovanni Gnocchi, Kyril Zlotnikov and others. 
In recent years, Syon made his successful debut as a soloist at the Rudolfinum with Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and at the Berlin Philharmonie, where he performed the Schumann Cello Concerto with the Berlin Sinfonietta 92. In the spring of 2026, he made his debut with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra. 
Twice nominated as ‘Young Musician of the Year’ by Bulgarian National Radio, Syon is a scholarship holder of the Paul Hindemith Society in Berlin and Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben. During the 2026/2027 season, he is a member of the Académie Jaroussky in Paris, France. 
He is a member of Trio “Infinito”, which performs regularly in Bulgaria and Germany, and with the “Varyon” String Quartet he has won first prizes at competitions in Japan and Germany. 
Syon plays an Italian cello from the Galiano family (Naples – 1790) kindly provided by the Villa Musica “Rheinland-Pfalz” Foundation 

Boris Uzunov has established himself as one of the most promising young Bulgarian pianists of his generation through an active concert career, appearances at international festivals, and successes at competitions. 
In 2026, he obtained his Master’s degree in Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he studied with Prof. Piet Kuijken. There, he developed an interest in historically informed performance and pursued parallel studies in fortepiano. His musical education began at the National School of Music “Lyubomir Pipkov” in Sofia, and he later joined the Junior Programme in the class of the renowned Bulgarian pianist Lyudmil Angelov. He has worked with internationally recognized pianists and pedagogues, including Arie Vardi, Boris Berman, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Henry Kramer, Olaf Laneri, Wojciech Świtała, Boyan Vodenicharov, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Émile Naoumoff, and others. 
As a soloist and chamber musician, Boris performs actively throughout Europe. His recent engagements include recitals at the Liszt Museum, Ars Musica Brussels, Schouwburg Kortrijk, Piano Extravaganza, and the Sofia Music Weeks Festival. In 2025, he was selected to represent the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the international Beyond Talent exchange programme with SLAC Conservatorium Leuven, where he presented recitals and led two masterclasses. 
He is a recipient of scholarships to participate in prestigious festivals and academies in the United States, including PianoTexas, YASP at the Curtis Institute of Music, the Brevard Music Festival, and the Colorado College SMF. 
He is a laureate of numerous international piano competitions, in 2025 Boris won First Prize at the 12th Liszt–Bartók International Piano Competition and Second Prize, together with the Special Prize for the Best Performance of the Compulsory Work, at the 43rd André Charlier International Piano Competition in Belgium. Earlier distinctions include the YASP Concerto Competition at the Curtis Institute of Music, the BMC Piano Competition, the International Piano Competition Flame in Paris, the International César Franck Piano Competition in Brussels, and others. 
Since the summer of 2026, he has been a piano teacher at the National School of Music “Lyubomir Pipkov” in Sofia, where he has become the youngest member of the piano department.
